Anthony Whelan, BA (Hons), MA, has spent most of his working life in Christian media production of one kind or another.
He ran his own graphic design, print and publishing businesses in Cornwall for several years before moving to Bedfordshire and taking up a pivotal role in the media department of a major international charity. It was here that he, as an avid team member, designed and managed the print production of their flagship 24-page full colour magazine.
Since leaving that post he has worked closely with several Christian ministries creating books, book cover designs, newsletters, video and audio and other media products.
He has written articles for the Christian press some of which have been published, and worked, for a time, in the editorial department of his local newspaper.
He still works with various Christian ministries but spends an increasing amount of time writing and has just published his first full length book.
He is an accomplished artist, painting mostly, in acrylic on canvas, has exhibited with the Bedford Art Society, and has sold some of his work online.
He studied at the Falmouth College of Art and Design, the University of Bedfordshire, and the Open University.
He is married to Carol and has three adult children and three grandchildren. He currently lives in Bedford with his wife Carol, his single-parent daughter, her son, and a madcap Cocker Spaniel called Buddy.
